The only real question is whether Dove's start-up fleet of journals can stay afloat on the fee-based OA model (given that it has apparently already failed on the subscription model). We need to bear in mind that start-up journals appear every year, and many disappear soon thereafter, having failed to find or sustain a niche (authors, subscribers).
